Sauce

BBQ sauce mixed with sambal

Pesto
fresh basil from garden, garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, s/p, parmesan cheese in blender

Put bruschetta on after cooking sliced bread with dabs of pesto and garnish with balsamic glaze.

No Bean Chili and Chili Naan Pizza

Hickory Smoked Ribs

 I guess I forgot to take a picture of the ribs-Woops!  I cooked up some spare ribs.  Those are some burnt ends from leftover trim.  I used hickory wood chunks and lump charcoal, and I kept the temp. around 200-250F.  
Burnt Ends- 4hrs
Smaller side of of spare rib- 5hrs
Main Slab- 6hrs

pesto: fresh basil from the garden, garlic, olive oil, s/p, parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and i had no pine nuts. Dump it all in the blender for a quick pesto

Fried Zucchini Flowers

Dredge

1 1/2cup flour
12oz club soda
s/p

Stuffing

fresh mozz., cubed
fresh basil, chopped
garlic, chopped
serrano pepper, chopped

Shallow fried in canola oil in deep dish pan

Slice bagel thin 1/4-1/2in thick and place on cookie sheet, spread something over if you like. Bake at 400F for 15min~ til crispy and golden brown.

If chopped up small, they could probably be used as croutons-

Lardon and Leek Quiche

thyme, marjoram

pate feuilletee
shredded emmental

Sautee leeks, lardon, garlic and onion in a pan with spices. Put mix into crust, sprinkle cheese over, and then pour mixture of milk and egg over.  Bake at 400F for 25-35min, til golden brown.
