6 apples
2 pie crust
3/4 brown sugar
cinnamon, nutmeg
grand marnier
pinch of salt
lemon
2 tbsp flour
egg wash-
1 egg yolk
Peel and slice apples. Cook them down with some sugar, spices, grand marnier, lemon, and flour. Take apples out to the side, let cool. Continue cooking the glaze, letting it thicken. Pour all the filling into a pie crust. Cover with other pie crust. You can make designs (like the leaves on my pie) and the holes serve as vents so the top doesnt inflate while baking. Now glaze the top with the egg wash. Bake at 400 for 30min~ til brown.
